I love the strategies included here -- so many in such a small space! The timer seems to refer to the Pomodoro technique, and there are references to GTD, too. I think I have tried them all at this point and still haven't latched on to a really effective strategy for my own focusing. Writing in the morning is helpful (ast least for me - and the product is not necessarily beneficial for any poor soul who might read it!) as is throwing out 99% of the papers that come my way. Evernote is a godsend in terms of archiving and tagging formerly paper items, a quick digital pic is all that is needed of hand written notes of things that come in the mail. The blocker programs look very intriguing, however, as Facebook and email checking is a habit that is hard to break...
Off for a Sunday of getting ready for the working week, and hopefully some poppy-embellishing time. What will you make today?
