It has been a busy week and I'm glad the weekend is upon us. By Friday everything feels a little worn out and messy, and time needs to be spent getting things back on track. Resetting the clock. I love the advertisement for a cleaning product that said "Life is messy -- clean it up," even though I can't remember what product was being advertised (marketing fail!) In addition to physical and practical messes, there are interpersonal messes, too, sometimes, that can throw an otherwise rational brain for a loop. The past couple days were like that for me. Despite my best attempts. It is challenging to let go of past experiences sometimes in order to develop new, positive ones. My rational brain can do this with little difficulty -- but the heart? That's a different story. Life's messes help us grow to better define and understand ourselves, and to hopefully foster personal improvement. Hoping to gain new understandings and feel more peaceful soon, and think some much needed art time might do the trick. It usually does! I need my beads, man!
What will you make today? Happy Weekend!
