Last night The Quakers were objecting to going "nite-nite" into their "house" (cage) in favor if hanging out on top of Hapi's estate. Tired, I let them have a camp out. Thy were good boys. Didn't steal anything from my desk and were perky this morning. Zaza is even flying around the kitchen! It is scary and his bones are so fragile, that any bad break could be too much for him, but I hate to restrict his flight as it is such a natural thing for him to do. He just flew across the kitchen and made loud chirps to make sure I saw. So cute! Jukes has been on my shoulder, grooming a few individual hairs, and getting kisses. Sweet little boy.
Today's art link is to another textile artist's blog whose sketchbook page caught my eye. It has an intriguing painting of a Vermeer portrait, altered. In watercolor. Fun way to explore art history. Closer examination of the site opened up a blog and loads of resources to other artists that will be fun to explore. Thank you, Veronica Hampton!
