Oops, I did it again. In an attempt to gather up some good older books for my collage class at school, I filled a cart of old treasures that I can't bear to part with, and hope to use myself. I did get a few that I can share, which should be plenty, but these titles and precious papers called my name: The thoughts of what could fill these pages is a bit artistically overwheming, but surely will be fun. Now we have to have a class on Altered Books at Create!! While "The Company of the Committed" may be a religious themed book now, I think it will be something very different later...maybe a book of portraits of people who are a bit crazy? "Overcome Arthritis" will be my "I HATE YOU RA" book. Bird of Prey -- a parrot book? And, of course, "SKINNY" could become a treasured book of introspection on what it means to be fat in this culture. The "Amazing Book of Facts" could be anything -- maybe my own opinions about things that are facts to me? Hmmmm.... the possibilities await. At $1.60 each, it was a small investment to make for months, possibly years, of creative fun!
