VACATION week begins. The weather is beautiful and I can't wait to get outdoors and begin repairing my house and yard from the winter weathering. Things got really rough last fall with my back being so bad, so now I have the time and hopefully health to get things cleaned up. As a reward for getting things done I am going to let myself restore my rose bushes that died in the Really Bad Winter. I want longstems again, and some new pretty colors. Can't wait! LOVE me my roses. The to-do list for the week looms...
On the list is catching up on art! I want to get the current quilt under way so it is ready for the next step, as well as work on my website and put together a simple class to see how it looks. Have to start somewhere on this online teaching thang. All of this and giving the house and dogs a good spring cleaning. Never a dull moment around here!
Today's art link is from the fab site TextileArtist.org and features Harriet Riddell, a textile performance artist who brings her machine to unusual locations to sew. How interesting!! Enjoy!
