Am particularly fond of the little town in which Broadchurch is set in Dorset, England. A little town that looks a bit like Portsmouth, NH, with more dramatic views and less habitation. Beautiful scapes. On the list of places to consider when becoming a British Textile Artist someday. Keeping all options open for the future as things tend to change whether we like them to or not. The blue skies of Dorset are at least on my travel bucket list, should the legs be better and travel be possible!
Day by day, I am trying to do more without over doing, imagining the newly sewn little partial disks in my back shouting "She can't take the pressure!" like Scotty on Start Trek every time I push the limit of lifting or moving. Do I sit? Lay down? Walk? All of the above. The secret is to mix it up and don't do any one thing for too long. Laundry is piling up, floors desperately need washing again (thank you Toby) and lots needs attention around here. I am grateful to have time at home to recover from this as I think chasing my students around the classroom would be way too much at this point. I miss them, though!
Onwards for another day. Feel good everyone, and watch your backs!
What will you make today?
