The new dishwasher is probably the prettiest thing in my house. It is all shiny and new, with new dishwasher smell. I literally covered the lower half with Press’n’Seal plastic wrap to ensure no early demise (go to heaven, Toby) The other one really didn’t clean my dishes that well...I had an automatic habit of rinsing dishes before using them. This one even has a sanitizing cycle which will be great for bird toys and perches (and for runnng AFTER toys and perches!)
Keeping it simple today for time’s sake, No time to navel-ponder this morning. I came across this educational link that Kate Hartman would love (and probably could operate at this point!) It is Digital Fabrication Residency in Maryland. They offer an online introductory course in using technology to fabricate art objects. I believe this is really just to get familiar with what tools are available for use at the studio, which is loaded with equipment. They also offer three day workshops and then a full fledged project-based residency. So many toys to play with and learn! I can’t even imagine stitching a digital design with so many colors. Sigh! Fast forward a hundred years...I wonder what technology people will have easy access to? Art will be so different!!
Hapi is yelling for toast, and it is trash day so I al graced with the lovely opportunity of changing the cat litter before anything else. Those trashmen always arrive when I am not ready for them.
I came across this little machine doodle and loved it. I couldn't find info about it but think it is neat. Happy Tuesday! Cheers.
